Support for the Areas and People Affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake
Donation for the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake
We would like to express our deepest sympathy to all those who have suffered from the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake. We pray for the victims and extend our condolences to the bereaved families.
We have donated 100 million yen through the Japanese Red Cross Society as the first round of support to help the victims of the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake and help with recovery in the disaster-stricken areas.
We have also sent 9,850 batteries (including 6,630 D batteries, 2,160 C batteries, 1,060 AA batteries), 608 flashlights, and 120 tarps to Japan from the US with the cooperation of Japan Airlines. These items were delivered to the disaster-stricken areas in Sendai through the authorized NPOs Japan Platform and Association for Aid and Relief, Japan.
We sincerely hope the areas affected by the disaster will recover swiftly as we continue to support the recovery efforts.
