Support for Shine On! Kids’ activities

We donated 1,000,000 yen to support the Specified Nonprofit Organization Shine On Kids to allow the organization to carry out activities supporting children with cancer and other serious illnesses and their families. The donation will be used to support:

(1) activities to support children with childhood cancer and serious illnesses and their families.

(2) activities to enhance the medical team and treatment, including increasing the amount of medical staff, improving collaboration between medical teams, and supporting research and development.

(3) activities to raise childhood cancer awareness, including participating in academic societies and volunteer activities and cooperating with sponsor companies.

Continued support for those affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake

We continue to support those affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred in March 2011.

□Iwate Prefecture
Funding for those wishing to study (support for single/double orphans resulting from the earthquake): 5,000,000 yen
□Miyagi Prefecture
Educational funding for children in Miyagi Prefecture (support for single/double orphans resulting from the earthquake): 5,000,000 yen
□Fukushima Prefecture
Funding for children in Fukushima Prefecture (support for single/double orphans resulting from the earthquake): 5,000,000 yen

Japan National Council of Social Welfare's "Enriched upbringing and independence" program

We have been donating through the Japan National Council of Social Welfare since 2010 to support the "enriched upbringing and independence” of children living in foster care, infant homes, maternal and child living support facilities, and independence training facilities. We donated 70,000,000 yen this year to support:

(1) those in their first year working, and

(2) to aid enriching the upbringing of young children.
